ARPA Features as Gold Sponsor on the 7th Annual Overlanders Day

ARPA Investments Ltd. (ARPA) will be the gold sponsors for the 7th annual Overlanders Day this July.

This year’s Overlanders Day, organized by the North Shore Business Improvement Association (NSBIA), will be held on July 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Brocklehurst Park, Kamloops.

“ARPA, a company that has been very active when it comes to bringing together the community, is a Gold Sponsor for our event,” said Patti Phillips, marketing director with the North Shore BIA. “They will also have a booth at the event’s Business & Community Expo alongside 75+ vendors, artists, home businesses and local businesses.”

“We really appreciate their sponsorship,” noted Phillips. “We could not put on our festival without our amazing sponsors, like ARPA.”

The 7th Annual Overlanders Day was started to bring the community together and take it back to the old days when North Kamloops used to have orchards, and when there used to be a lot of pioneer celebrations etc.

“It is a celebration of the cultural DNA of the North Shore, a time to connect as family and friends and eat, play and share,” said Phillips.

This year the event will feature the Highland Valley Food Expo which will include 10+ Food Vendors and there will be a Papa John’s Pizza contest at noon for children & adults, with Bronze, Silver & Gold medals to be won.

There will also be an entertainment stage with Kayla from B100 as the Emcee, featuring artists such as the Kamloops City Strummers, Jeremy Kneeshaw & Brenden Methot with their dueling pianos, Kamloops Performance Group, Dave Coalmine, Pokotillo Ukrainian Dancers, Mad Scientists Reggae. The event will also have an animal corner with the Funny Duck’s Family Farm Petting Zoo featuring goats, kids and bunnies, dog bakery, groomers, the BC SPCA, WildSafe BC etc. For full event details, Overl here.

The team at ARPA is delighted to support.

“We believe that the celebration will be a perfect day for the community to come together,” said Joshua Knaak, one of the partners of ARPA Investments. “It’s a great day to come out and meet your neighbours, connect, and have fun. We invite everyone to come and say hello to us at our booth at the Business & Community Expo and learn more about our next project, Thompson Landing on Royal.”
